  Purchased Doberman puppy, was told I would receive AKC papers in 8 to 10 weeks...that was lie. I got papers from APR which does not require breeders to show proof of anything. The paper had the breeders name listed and upon doing research, found out that this puppy comes from a place that has had numerous complaints and violations and the breeder himself wasn't even licensed. Further research can be found for any of you that have purchased a puppy through saving benji, a non profit organization that investigates pet stores here in Colorado and shows what breeders pet city gets their dogs from and information as to what complaints, violations, and problems those breeders have. Beware buying dog from here...find your own reputable breeder and spend the extra money.
