  This Target doesn't take personal checks anymore. I have lived in Colorado Springs for 30 years. I have never bounced a check. I recently tried to purchase 2 Fieldcrest comforters and they wouldn't take my check. They said that I had to apply for a Red Card Debit or Credit card. I went to my bank, cashed a check, came back ,and paid cash. I spent 45 minutes at the store trying to get them to take my check. We even called my bank to verify funds. Then I spent another 45 minutes going to my bank to cash my check for my purchase. From now on, I will avoid Target and go to Penny's instead. Penny's takes my checks.
